*休暇中 10月21日-25日* こんにちは、私はニュージーランド出身のネイティブ英語話者で、現在イタリアに住んでいます。私は英語の基礎を持ち、実生活の状況で自信を持って自然にコミュニケーションを改善したい成人学習者と一緒に働いています。私のレッスンは会話を基にしていますが、構造化されており、実用的なスピーキングスキルに焦点を当てています。異なる文化的背景を持つ意欲的な学生と一緒に働き、彼らがアイデアをより明確かつ快適に表現できるよう手助けすることを楽しんでいます。なお、私は「Cambly Pro」でのみ成人を教えており、絶対初心者の学生は教えていません。また、文法のみのレッスン、試験準備、模擬テストは提供していません。
私のバックグラウンドはアートと写真にあり、仕事やプロジェクト、海外生活のために英語が必要なクリエイティブな国際的な専門分野の学生とよく仕事をしています。オンラインでの指導経験は3年以上あり、学生がより自然に話せるようになり、語彙を広げ、アイデアを明確に伝える手助けをすることを楽しんでいます。私は日本文化に強い興味を持っており、伝統的な側面と現代的な側面の両方に関心があります。文化の違いに非常に関与しており、特に言語、文化、コミュニケーションに興味を持つ学生との小話を超えた意義のある議論を楽しんでいます。

*ON VACATION 21st-25th OCT* Hi, I’m a native English speaker from New Zealand, currently based in Italy. I work with adult learners who have a foundation in English and want to improve how confidently and naturally they communicate in real-life situations. My lessons are conversation-based but structured, with a focus on practical speaking skills. I enjoy working with motivated students from different cultural backgrounds and helping them express ideas more clearly and comfortably. Please note that I teach adults on 'Cambly Pro' only, I do not teach absolute beginner students, and I do not offer grammar-only lessons, exam preparation, or mock tests.
My background is in art and photography, and I often work with students from creative, international, and professional fields who need English for work, projects, or living abroad. I have over 3 years of online teaching experience and enjoy helping students sound more natural, expand their vocabulary, and communicate ideas with clarity. I have a strong interest in Japanese culture, including both traditional and contemporary aspects. I’m very engaged with cultural differences and enjoy meaningful discussions that go beyond small talk, especially with students who are curious about language, culture, and communication.

私は、軽い構造と明確な目標を持った会話中心のレッスンを教えています。初めに、英語を学ぶ理由や改善したい点についてお聞きし、その後、ディスカッション、特定の語彙、発音、より自然な表現に基づいてレッスンを構成します。私は忍耐強く、励まし、サポートを提供し、学生が快適に話しながらも着実に進歩できるリラックスしたが集中した環境を作ることを目指しています。レッスンには、ガイド付きのディスカッション、ロールプレイ、実践的なスピーキングタスク、会話中の継続的なフィードバックが含まれることがあります。効果的なコミュニケーションとエンゲージメントのために、レッスン中にカメラをオンにできる学生とだけお会いします。また、初回のミーティングとして1時間の予約は受け付けないことを好みます。

I teach conversation-focused lessons with light structure and clear goals. Early on, I ask about your reasons for learning English and what you would like to improve, then shape lessons around discussion, targeted vocabulary, pronunciation, and more natural phrasing. I’m patient, encouraging, and supportive, and I aim to create a relaxed but focused environment where students feel comfortable speaking while still making steady progress. Lessons may include guided discussion, roleplays, practical speaking tasks, and ongoing feedback during conversation. For effective communication and engagement, I only meet with students who are able to keep their camera turned on during lessons. I also prefer not to accept one-hour bookings as a first meeting.
