私が教鞭をとって15年以上の間に、英語やスペイン語から歴史、社会科学に至るまで、幅広い科目を教えてきました。アメリカの公立中学校・高校、私立アカデミーで教え、スペインにおいては、あらゆる年齢の生徒に対して私自身のプライベートクラスも開講しています。1年余り前にオンライン教育へと移行しましたが、それが大好きです！それにより、私は2人の幼い子供の世話をしながら、世界中の他者の人生や教育体験を豊かにすることができる柔軟性を持つことができました。教育の分野以外にも、管理業務、パフォーミングアーツ、レストラン業界、技術的および法的文書の翻訳など、幅広い経験を持っています。私の趣味は、運動をすること、笑うこと、旅行、歌うこと、映画鑑賞、そして家族との時間を過ごすことです。

Hello, my name is Jennifer, and I am so excited to learn with you! I am from Chicago, Illinois, where I earned my Bachelors degree in education. I have been teaching both inside and out of the traditional classroom for over 15 years, and absolutely love helping people of all ages learn! I currently live in Seville, Spain with my family, and enjoy travelling and learning about other cultures, working out, and watching Disney movies with my kids. Teaching is my passion, and I always strive to make it fun and meaningful. I am friendly, patient, and love to have fun! I cannot wait to meet you in class!
In my 15 plus years of teaching, I have taught a wide varitey of subjects from English and Spanish language to History and Social Studies. I have taught in public middle and high schools in the United States, in private academies, and have conducted my own private classes to students of all ages here in Spain. A little over a year ago I made the transition to teaching online, and I love it! It gives me the flexibility to care for my two young children, while still being able to enrich the lives and educational experiences of others all over the world. I also have a wide variety of experience outside of teaching, including: administrative work, the performing arts, the restaurant industry, as well as translating technical and legal documents. In my free time, I love working out, laughing, travelling, singing, watching movies, and spending time with my family.

I believe that learning should be meaningful and prouctive and occur in a fun, positive, and supportive environment. I am very animated, expressive, and clear in my teaching style. I love teaching all levels- from beginners to advanced. My goal for my students is that they will be able to use and apply what they have learned in class in their everyday lives, and at the same time enjoy the learning process and be excited to come back and learn more!
