こんにちは、私の名前はゲイリーです。私はイタリア人の両親のもと、イギリスのロンドンで生まれ育ちましたので、バイリンガルです。現在はコロンビアに住んでおり、スペイン語も流暢に話せます。過去20年間、時々英語を教えており、個人レッスンまたは少人数のグループにプライベートクラスを提供しています。
私はトリニティ・カレッジ・ロンドンでTESOL（英語教授法）の資格を取得し、社会科学の学士号を持っています。また、ボーカリストでありミュージシャン、そして作家でもあります。短編小説、長編小説、詩を書いています。世界中を広く旅し、様々な世界の文化を経験してきました。コロンビアでは、南部の農村で10年間、恵まれない子どもたちに英語と美術を教えました。旅行、音楽、創造的な執筆の他にも、芸術、音楽、料理、パーマカルチャー、スピリチュアリティ、ホリスティックセラピー、世界の文化と宗教、科学など、多岐にわたる興味を持っています。

Hello, my name is Gary. I was born and raised in London, England, with Italian parents, therefore I'm also bi-lingual. I currently live in Colombia and am also fluent in Spanish. I've taught English sporadically for the last twenty years on a one to one basis or in small groups, giving private classes.
I have a TESOL certificate at Trinity college, London and a bachelour degree in Social Sciences. I'm also a vocalist and musician and a writer. I write short stories, novels, and poetry. I've travelled extensively around the world throughout world cultures. In Colombia I taught English and art to disadvantaged children in a rural village in the south for ten years. Besides travel, music and creative wriiting I have a host of other interest including arts, music, cuisine, permeaculture, spirituality, holistic therapies, world cultures and religions and science.

私の指導スタイルは流暢さを目指していますが、方法は生徒の英語レベルに応じて変わります。最近では、生徒が好きな音楽や歌を通じて英語を教え、文法、発音、スペリング、意味に重点を置いています。しかし、各生徒の興味に基づいた自由な会話も好きです。読解力も、生徒にとって関連性のある内容に基づいて、彼らが好むものだと感じています。

My teaching style aims at fluency, though, my methods would vary depending on the students level of English. In recent times I taught English through music and songs that student like, with emphasis on grammer, pronunciation, spelling and meaning. But I also like free style conversation based on each students interest. Reading text and comprehention is also something I find students like, based on what is relevant to them.
