こんにちは！私のプロフィールを見ていただきありがとうございます。私はこれまでの人生でずっと教師をしてきました。大学で正式に教えることもありましたし、教会の学校や私の子供たちの学校で非公式に教えることもありました。子供たちと一緒に働くことが好きで、彼らのエネルギーと熱意が大好きです。私は柔軟で楽しいですが、学習に対する強い期待と自信を築くことにも力を入れています。あなたにもっと知ってもらいたいです！
世界中の学生に会い、異なる文化について学ぶのが大好きです。私が関わっている大学院プログラムには、多くの国際学生がおり、彼らと一緒に仕事をすることは喜びであり、光栄です。私たちは、南アフリカ、タイ、ニカラグアからの高校生を短期間家に迎え入れたことがあり、自分の子供たちが留学する際にはケニア、タイ、南アフリカを訪れました。料理（主にイタリア料理）をすること、読書、ハイキング、孫娘と遊ぶことを楽しんでいます。

Hello! Thank you for looking through my profile. I've been a teacher all my life, formally at universities, or informally at church school or my children's schools. I enjoy working with kids, and love their energy and enthusiasm. I am flexible and fun, but also have strong expectations for learning and building confidence. I would love to get to know more about you!
I love to meet students from around the world, and learn about different cultures. The graduate program I work with has a large international student population, and it has been a pleasure and honor to work with them. We have had high school students from South Africa, Thailand and Nicaragua live with us short-term basis, and have followed our own children to Kenya, Thailand and South Africa as they studied abroad. I enjoy cooking (primarily Italian), reading, hiking and playing with my granddaughter.

As I mentioned in the video, I am patient, friendly and enthusiastic. I love hands-on practice and working with students and families to meet their goals. I use props and realia, positive correction, TPR, and scaffolding. Mistakes are expected, and give us an opportunity to grow!
