Hi! And thank you for taking the time to check me out. I've been teaching English to overseas students, aged from 16 to 24 years old since 1988 and I've lived and worked in Saudi Arabia, Croatia, Morocco and Italy to name just a few of the great places that work has taken me. I really enjoy teaching and I remain in contact with many of my ex students to this day. For several years, now, I've specialized in teaching IELTS and I have helped many people who want to come to study in the UK to achieve level 7 in IELTS. I also continue to support "my" students once in the UK with help with subject specific English. In summary, You are unlikely to find a more effective English tutor, with greater experience or higher training credentials than me.
I've been fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel the world as an English teacher and I've been truly changed by that experience. While living and working in Jeddah I discovered Islam and became Muslim. When working in Casablanca I met and married my wife. So we are truly an international family and this has given a new dimension to my work.

I try to teach in a way that interests and motivates the individual student, with special consideration to their particular needs and motivations to learn English. So, for example, if you are a doctor who wants to be able to converse with your patients in English, I will focus on the kinds of language that you need in that context. I am a light hearted person and I like to make the experience fun for the student and for me, so that you can learn a lot without feeling the pain!
