Hello! Welcome to my profile. Originally from Canada, I love to travel the world and meet new people. Travelling has given me an interest in language and culture and I hope to combine my curiosity about different cultures with my desire to help people from around the world to improve their English skills. I love to laugh and to smile and will try my best to create an easy, safe and fun environment for you to practice your English skills. Let me help you improve your English skills so you feel more confident communicating in any environment.
I'm active, energetic and empathetic. I love to make new connections and enjoy meaningful conversations. My favourite activity is hiking and I've hiked all over the world including in Nepal, Ecuador, Uganda and Turkey. I'm also a lover of the arts and previously used to perform classical piano before I became a piano teacher. What about you?

I've been teaching private lessons for over 15 years and I find that students at any age learn best when they're in a safe and relaxed environment where the focus is on their individual needs. I try my best to make a connection with my students to try to build a nice rapport and learn what teaching style works best for the individual. Also, let's keep it light and fun!
