みなさん、こんにちは！私はチューターのピートです。韓国や東南アジアの学校で子供や大人に英語を第二言語/外国語として教えることに長年の経験があります。人と会うことが大好きで、教えること、他の人が学ぶのを助けることに情熱を持っています。近いうちにお会いできることを楽しみにしています！
私の名前はピートで、カナダ出身です。英語と歴史を専攻し、政治学を副専攻で学んだ文学士の学位を取得しました。また、アメリカのミシガン州の大学で子どもの発達について学びました。 私はカナダ、韓国、そして現在は東南アジアで、英語を第二言語として教えたり、社会科学や体育のクラスを教えたりしています（生徒は幼稚園から大学生、企業で働く大人まで）。私は「幼児教育」の教師、EFLインストラクター、ヘッドティーチャーとして、また私立の語学学校で働いています。韓国の2つの大学やいくつかの企業でも働き、初級から中級、上級レベルの会話英語やビジネス英語を教えました。 私は家庭教師として、一対一や少人数グループのクラスを数年間経験しており、幼稚園から大学レベルまでの生徒を教えてきました。 また、5歳から16歳までの子供たちにサッカーのコーチングを行い、カナダのナショナルコーチング認定プログラムから「レベル1＆2コーチング理論」の資格を取得しています。 私は初級から中級レベルの会話英語を教えることを好みますが、他のニーズのある生徒にも対応できます。 また、スポーツをすることや観戦すること、読書、音楽を聴くこと、チェスをすること、旅行、新しい文化について学ぶことを本当に楽しんでいます。 私は忍耐強く、親切で、楽しく、理解のある教師だと感じています。レッスンにはしっかり準備をしており、さまざまな教授スタイルや教材を使用し、創造的で楽しい方法で教えています。私はユーモアを使って生徒がリラックスできるようにし、自立して学ぶための道具を与えます。 生徒が学ぶのを助けることが大好きで、教えることに情熱を持っています！あなたに会って教えることをとても楽しみにしています！

Hello everyone! I am Tutor Pete and I have many years of teaching English as a second/foreign language to children and adults at schools in South Korea and Southeast Asia. I love meeting people and have a passion for teaching and helping others to learn. I hope to meet you soon!
My name is Pete and I am from Canada and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Majors in English & History / Minor in Political Science, and studied Child Development at a university in Michigan, U.S.A. I have taught English as a second language, social studies and some physical education classes in Canada, South Korea and now in Southeast Asia ( Students from preschool to university and adults working in companies) as an 'Early Childhood' teacher, EFL instructor and head teacher and private language institutes. I also worked at two universities in South Korea and some companies where I taught beginner, intermediate and advanced levels conversational English and Business English. I have experience in home tutoring classes (one-on-one and small groups) for several years with students of all ages (kindergarten to university level). I have also coached football (soccer) to children from 5 to 16 years old and have my' Level 1 & 2 Coaching Theory' certificates from the Canadian National Coaching Certification Program. I prefer to teach beginners and intermediate levels conversational English, but can adopt to other students with different needs. I also really enjoy playing and watching sports, reading, listening to music, playing chess, traveling and learning about new cultures. I feel that I am a patient, kind, fun, and understanding teacher. I am well prepared for lessons and use different teaching styles and materials, and teach in creative and fun ways. I use my humour to make students feel comfortable and give them the tools to learn independently. I love helping students to learn and I have a passion for teaching! 私の英語を第二言語として教える経験を経て、私は「差別化された」および「コミュニケーション的」な指導法を採用して教えるスタイルを取り入れました。私は生徒を知り、彼らの興味、困難、学習ニーズを知ることが好きです。彼らとコミュニケーションをとることで、質問をしてもらい、何を学びたいか、どのように学ぶのが最適かについて意見を持ってもらうことが好きです。授業が1時間の場合、私は生徒が集中し、退屈しないように、トピックと指導スタイルを（約15分ごとに）変えるのが好きです。最近では、1年以上にわたってZoomで教えており、発音、リスニング、質問の形成、会話活動など、楽しく生産的なレッスンを維持するためのさまざまなレッスンプランのアイデアを学びました。私は多くのリソースを持っており、それらを共有し、生徒が自分で学べるようにそれらを使用するように指導します。また、ユーモアのセンスを活かし、楽しくリラックスした方法で教えることで、生徒が快適に感じられるようにするのが好きです。私の最も優れた資質は、親切で楽しく、親しみやすく、理解力があり、創造的でありながら、生徒が間違いを犯してそこから学べるように忍耐強くいることだと感じています。

After my experience teaching English as a second language, I have adopted my teaching style to teach by 'Differentiated' and 'Communicative' teaching instruction. I like to get to know my students and find out about their interests, difficulties, and their learning needs. By communicating with them, I like them to ask questions and to have them have input into what they want to study and how they like to learn best. If a lesson is an hour long, I like to change the topic and instruction style (every 15 minutes or so) so my students are engaged and not bored. I have recently taught on Zoom, for more than a year so I have learned many different lesson plan ideas including pronunciation, listening, question forming, and conversational activities that keep my lessons fun and productive. I have a large number of resources to share and guide students to use them so they can also learn on their own. I also like to use my sense of humour and teach in a fun and relaxed manner to make my students feel comfortable. I feel that my best qualities are being kind, fun, approachable, understanding, and creative while having the patience to let my students make mistakes so they can learn from them.
