Hello! My name is Jamie and I am very excited to meet you and begin our English journey together! I have worked with children and college students for almost 18 years. For the last four years, I have been teaching English classes online. I have worked in childcare, public schools, after school programs, online classrooms and teacher education programs. I hope to see you in the classroom soon!
In addition to teaching, I love spending time with my family! I have a 12 year old son who loves to play football and basketball. He has been teaching me a lot about each sport! I also love reading, baking, going to sporting events, riding my bicycle and doing puzzles. I also have a dog named Ellie.

I believe my teaching style is interactive and student-focused. I want each student to feel comfortable and confident in the classroom. I believe more meaningful learning takes place when students are actively engaged. I use praise to encourage each student. I want all of my students to know that it is ok to make mistakes-that's how we learn!
