皆さん、こんにちは！ 私の名前はルーシーです。CELTAの教育スキルを活かして、皆さんの英語力向上をお手伝いできることを楽しみにしています。ぜひ、私とお話ししましょう。 私は多くの国際経験があります。1歳から西アジアで育ち、カタール、オマーン、ドバイ、トルコに住んでいました。オーストラリアで大学に通った後、タイで14年間ホテルを管理していました。南アメリカで4年間過ごした後、イギリスに帰国したばかりです。その間にCamblyで教え始め、7,000以上のクラスを指導しました！英語が母国語でない方と話すことには非常に慣れているので、私と話す際に気を使う必要はありません :) 私は、実生活での自然な会話をカジュアルに行うことも、学術的またはビジネス目的のための正式な英語を教えることも喜んで行います。レッスンは生徒中心で、皆さんのニーズに合わせて調整します。まずコミュニケーションに焦点を当て、自信を高め、その後正確さに移ります。心理学の卒業生として、心理学や研究、観光・ホスピタリティマネジメント、クラフトビール、ワイン、食べ物、旅行の分野での具体的な経験がありますが、皆さんが話したいトピックについても喜んでお話しします！ 私は温かく、フレンドリーで、忍耐強い人間です。皆さんの学びを応援します。新しいことを学ぶのは難しいことがあると経験から知っているので、レッスンを快適で楽しく、記憶に残るものにしたいと思っています。 お互いを知り合い、楽しく学びましょう！
CELTAコース中に、私はすべてのレベルの英語学習者を教えるための訓練を受けました。Camblyで7,500クラスの指導を行った後、私は中級下から上級の学生を教えることを好み、各学生のレベルに合ったスタイルに適応することができます。

Hi everyone! My name is Lucy and I am looking forward to using my CELTA teaching skills to help you improve your English. I would like to warmly welcome you to chat with me. I have a lot of international experience, I grew up in West Asia from the age of one and lived in Qatar, Oman, Dubai, and Turkey. I went to college in Australia and then went on to manage hotels in Thailand for fourteen years. I have just returned to the UK after spending 4 years in South America where I started teaching on Cambly and have tutored over 7,000 classes!! I am very comfortable speaking to people whose first language is not English so there is no need to feel shy with me :) I am happy to have general conversations in an informal, natural way as they would happen in real life as well as teach formal English for academic or business purposes. The lessons will be student-centred and I will adapt to your needs. We will build your confidence by focusing on communication first, and then accuracy. As a psychology graduate, I have specific experience working in the fields of psychology and research, tourism and hospitality management, craft beer, wine, food and travel, but am happy to speak about any topic you wish! I am a warm, friendly and patient person who will encourage you in your learning. I know from experience that learning something new can be difficult, so I hope to make your lessons comfortable, fun and memorable. Let's get to know each other and have fun learning!
During my CELTA course, I was trained to teach all levels of English learner. After tutoring 7,500 classes on Cambly , I prefer to teach lower intermediate up to advanced students and can adapt to a style that suits each student at their level.

In sessions, students can expect a blend of the direct approach and communicative language teaching. This ensures that students learn English in a natural, instinctive way, but are also able to function in the real world, in English, by being able to express their needs and make requests. The focus of the lessons will depend on the students requirements, as lessons will always be student-centred. I will correct accuracy when necessary with encouragement, warmth and praise and reinforcement.
