私はアメリカのミッドウェスト出身です。夫はイギリス出身で、私たちには素晴らしい子供が4人います。演技と歌をすることが好きで、教育とパフォーミングアーツのバックグラウンドを活かして、地域の子供たちや世界中の子供たちに教えることをとても楽しんでいます。旅行が好きで、特に熱帯地方へ行くのが好きです。美味しいお菓子を焼いたり、新しいレシピを試すのが好きです。自然の中にいるのが大好きです。ハイキングが私の一番の趣味で、木々の間を駆け抜け、葉を通して顔に差し込む日差しを感じるのが大好きです。

My name is Lucia Colley Jones. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Rio Grande in Ohio. I studied Early Childhood Education and Vocal and Theatrical Performance. I have over ten years of teaching experience in a childcare and public-school setting. I have been teaching English as a second language online since 2018. My husband and I live in Ohio with our four children aged: 16, 7, 5, and 3. My husband is from Wales, UK so, his native language is Welsh. We are raising our children bilingual, so I have a lot of personal experience teaching second language skills. I am excited to work with you. I hope you’ll join me in my classroom. I am from the Midwest, USA. My husband is from the UK and we have four wonderful children. I like acting and singing and have very much enjoyed being able to use my background in Education and Performing Arts to teach children in my community and all over the world. I like to travel, especially to tropical locations. I like baking delicious treats and trying out new recipes. I love being out in nature. Hiking is my favorite hobby, I love running through the trails amongst the trees and feeling the sunlight on my face as it peaks through the leaves.

I am patient and kind. I like to get to know my students and adapt my teaching style to their personalities and needs. Some like a teacher that is fun and energetic and some prefer a more reserved teacher. I adjust my teaching to the student's learning styles to be sure they are getting the most out of each class with me. I want them to enjoy the class and feel confident with what they are learning.
