Hello! My name is Lisa. It's nice to meet you. Let's speak English together! I enjoy helping children, teenagers, and adults read and speak with confidence and expression. I am friendly, cheerful and patient, so you will feel comfortable asking questions and practicing different ways to express yourself in English! I am a certified English teacher and elementary teacher. I have graduate degrees in English and English education. I also have TESOL certificate. My undergraduate degree is a BFA in theater, so I am a fan of the arts. I currently work as a substitute teacher for children in preschool, so I am very patient! In my free time, I like to hike, go camping in my tent, try to play my violin, read, learn French, and travel by bicycle. I have traveled by bicycle all over America and in several countries in Europe. I look forward to future adventures on my bike. I am excited to meet you and be your tutor. I am enjoy nature and tent camping. I like to paint watercolors and knit. I enjoy reading all types of books from nonfiction to novels to travelogues. I like to travel to new places. I also like to travel by bicycle even though it can be very challenging. I enjoy playing the violin even though I play very poorly!
