I am from The United States and currently living in Spain. I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I have my bachelor’s degree in International Business and my 120-hour TEFL certificate. I have been working as an ESL teacher for 13 years. My teaching experience involves in-company classes for multinationals, technical English in the aviation sector, students from level K-year 12, and preparing the British Cambridge Exam on all levels. I have 5 years experience teaching online to children and adults abroad. I love it.
At the age of 14 I moved from the USA to Spain and struggled with the language. I didnt learn with books or grammar lessons, but through interactive learning with people and the culture. I know the value of learning through visuals, TPR and repetitive actions and words. This gives me an extremely high understanding of what it takes to learn a new language. I believe the possibilities are endless when you have the tools you need to learn. My hobbies are cooking, collecting cookbooks, and cooking exotic cuisines. I rescue animals and help shelters, because I think it is important that we care of the weaker souls. I also love gardening, because when you water and nurture plants, they grow and that is such a rewarding feeling. I hope to teach you soon!
