こんにちは、Camblyの生徒さん。 2026年7月9日のお知らせです！ 私は2026年7月下旬から9月7日までイギリスで夏休みを取ります。私の最後のCamblyの授業は7月17日金曜日になります。休暇中はCamblyで教えることができませんが、時々ログインしてメッセージを読むつもりです。私の不在がご迷惑をおかけすることをお詫び申し上げます。私が不在の間に別のチューターを見つけていただければと思います。また、私が戻った際には再び私を選んでいただけることを願っています！ 私のプロフィール： 私を「マーティン」と呼んでください。（はい、「y」で綴られています！） 私は元々イギリスのブリストル出身ですが、今は日本の大阪と京都の間の小さな町に住んでいます。 1989年にエンジニアとして働くために日本に来ました。その仕事は2年半で終わり、イギリスに戻りました。日本がとても恋しかったので、1994年に再び戻り、全国の英会話学校での教えから技術文書の書き直しまで、さまざまな言語関連の仕事をしました。ここ15年間は個人で英語を教えており、現在はオンラインでも教えています。世界中の新しい生徒に会えるのを本当に楽しみにしています。あなたの英語スキル向上のお手伝いができればと思います！
趣味がたくさんあります、ここに列挙するには多すぎます！パソコンやインターネットのような技術が大好きです。ライブ音楽のパフォーマンスも好きです。小さな街に住んでいるので、田舎への旅行はいつも楽しいです。もちろん、友達と会うのもいいですね！

Hello Cambly student. Announcement on 9th July 2026! I will be taking my summer break in England from late July until 7th September 2026. My last Cambly classes will be on Friday 17th July. During my holiday I will not be able to teach on Cambly although I will log in from time to time to read messages. I apologise for any inconvenience my absence causes you and hope you can find another tutor while I’m away. I also hope you switch back to me on my return! My profile: Please call me "Martyn". (Yes, it's spelt with a "y"! ) I'm from Bristol, England originally, but now I live in Japan, in a small city between Osaka and Kyoto. I came to Japan in 1989 to work as an engineer. That work finished after two and a half years and I went back to England. I really missed Japan, so in 1994 I returned and did a variety of language-related jobs from teaching at a national English conversation school to technical paper rewriting. For the last 15 years I've been teaching English privately and now online. I'm really looking forward to meeting new students from all over the world. I hope to help you improve your English skills!
I have so many hobbies, too many to list here! I love technology, such as PCs and Internet. I also like live music performances. I live in a small city, so a trip to the countryside is always enjoyable. And meeting with friends is good too, of course!

First, I always find out why you, the student, want to learn or improve your English. What are your goals or dreams? Then I can adjust my teaching methods to help you improve as quickly as possible. I give corrections gently, so you can build up your speaking confidence, too.
