Hello. My name is Clair and there’s a saying I love to say, “Every day is a school day”. In every day we learn something new, we grow and become more than we were yesterday. If we can do just something, big or small each day, it gets us closer to our goals. I am an avid reader who loves to immerse myself into the imaginary world of books. Travel is a real passion, I have visited 23 different countries and wish to visit many more. I especially enjoy meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. Photography is a keen hobby of mine which helps keep my creativity alive. To keep fit and healthy, I enjoy the many hiking trails we have here in Cape Town. I am adventurous, fun loving and enjoy the great outdoors.

I believe in an active learning style. One which is student centred and encourages students to participate actively in dialogue creating an engaging, interactive and supportive environment. You can expect friendly conversation with a natural flow to prompt fluency, improve pronunciation and increase vocabulary. In my lessons, asking questions and making mistakes are rewarded with growth, learning and understanding. Be prepared to have some fun while improving your English language skills, growing your confidence in conversation and feeling motivated and inspired to take your learning to the next level.
