Hi. I have experience of working with people from all backgrounds and nationalities. I love meeting new people from all cultures and am a great active listener.
I have quite a few interests and these include reading, walking, cooking, visiting historical places, spending time with my dog, travelling, looking after tropical plants, photography, art and watching K dramas. I am currently living in Spain and I love learning about different cultures. I spent many years working in the Social Services/Probation and mental health areas.

I am a patient and enthusiastic teacher and I only teach adults. My aim is to help people enjoy and feel confident in speaking English. I am a great active listener so if you would like to practice and steadily improve your conversational skills we will be able to have many interesting and fun conversations. I often help people who are anxious or nervous in speaking English. I like teaching, and have an interest in, British idioms and colloquial phrases and vocabulary. These are very useful for people who have got to a level where they would like to talk more like a native speaker.
