I love teaching English! I want to help you as an English Learner to do your best and work toward achieving the level of success you desire. I am retired, so I teach part-time. Please check my schedule for openings. I maintain times for regular students, and leave some times open for new or visiting students. Please drop by. I love traveling! My husband and I have been to quite a few places in in the Americas, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and some island nations as well. We are will be visiting England and Scotland this Spring. Tutoring English is currently my favorite hobby. It is almost as much fun as traveling itself! I thoroughly enjoy getting to know people and their cultures. After taking French and Spanish courses in High School and the University, I am now refreshing my Spanish and beginning to learn some Brazilian Portuguese. Grammar and Pronunciation are two of my favorite areas of tutoring. Cambly has some very good lessons to help in those areas of Speaking English.

My teaching style is informal, friendly, structured to your goals and what you want to do that day or over a period of time. We may read an article together, do a Cambly lesson, or chat, working on pronunciation, vocabulary, and structure. You may bring an article (you may share a link with me), or I can provide an article. We will work together to find material that is suitable to your needs and interests. I often use everyday life experiences to enrich our lessons.
