When I'm not teaching, you'll usually find me spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, or enjoying the outdoors. I love trying new experiences, discovering different foods, and learning about cultures from around the world. One of the reasons I enjoy teaching English is that I genuinely love connecting with people from different backgrounds and hearing their stories. In fact, I'm currently on my own language-learning journey as I study Spanish while living in Mexico! Experiencing a new language and culture firsthand has given me an even deeper appreciation for the challenges—and rewards—of learning to communicate in another language. I know how intimidating speaking can feel at times, because I'm living that experience too. That's why I strive to create a friendly, relaxed environment where students feel comfortable practicing, making mistakes, and building confidence with every conversation.
