For almost 30 years I have helped people of all ages and levels of knowledge improve their English speaking ability. Although I can and will help you with grammar, I am not a grammar teacher. If you are a very basic beginner, I am not the teacher for you. However, if you read and speak English, and want to improve your conversation ability, I believe we will enjoy having lessons together. I look forward to meeting you.
During my childhood I lived in Japan and France. My early years of marriage were spent living in some lovely southern cities in the southeastern part of America. As a middle-aged adult I lived in a number of Eastern European countries, Russia, the Philippines, and Chile. After doing all the traveling I care to do, I am now living a laid- back lifestyle in small-town America. I enjoy reading, especially historical novels. For relaxation I do "easy" crosswords. I am learning acrylic painting and immensely enjoy it. My favorite pass-time is playing board games with my grandchildren.

私はリラックスしたが、活気のある会話教師です。Camblyの会話レッスンを使用することで、生徒と私は多くの話題を見つけて話し合います。すべての生徒が構造化されたレッスンを望んでいるわけではなく、そのような生徒には思いついたことをただ話します。私の目標は、生徒が英語を第二言語として話すことに慣れるのを助けることです。私は笑うことが大好きで、生徒もそうだと感じているので、常にレッスンの中で笑顔と少しの笑いをもたらす何かを探しています。

I am a relaxed but animated conversation teacher. By using the Cambly conversation lesson my students and I find many topics to discuss. Not all students want a structured lesson, for those students we just talk about whatever comes to mind. My goal is to help the student become comfortable speaking English as their second language. I love to laugh, and I find my students do too, so I always look for something in our lesson to bring a smile and a little laughter to our time together.
