Hello my name is Javier. I am of English and Spanish heritage and live in England. I am a TEFL Graduate qualified English Teacher and hold a Bachelors Degree in Law & Business. I have over 25 years business experience as a manager and Director in shipping, recruitment, agriculture and have lived and worked in Europe, Australia, America and South America. I am very happy to teach English to people of all ages and experience. I enjoy conversations with English students and love seeing them improve and reach their goals. I live in the United Kingdom. I have travelled and lived in a number of countries in Europe, Australia, the Pacific, America and South America. I know from my personal experience how difficult it is to learn and speak confidently in a new language. My aim is to help my students reach their English goals in a relaxed, non judgmental and friendly environment. I love to meet people and learn about new cultures. My teaching style is: - Relaxed and friendly. No pressure environment! - Non judgmental - mistakes are seen as a positive and necessary in a students journey to improvement. - Communicative - conversation is the key to improving your English and not perfection! - Encouraging - it is important that all students feel they are encouraged and feel a sense of their own achievement. - Patient. I know from my own personal experience how difficult it is to learn and speak a new language. - Professional. Lessons are taught in a professional environment for both the student and teacher. - Respectful - Always respecting a students English skills and level of experience whilst tailoring my teaching to the students requirements and their culture. - Safe learning environment - Lessons are undertaken in a safe environment where the student can express themselves in a non judgmental and private environment.
