Hello! I'm Denise. Thank you for visiting my profile. I'm originally from New York City but now I'm a citizen of the world. I caught the travel bug, packed my bags, and I haven't looked back since. My favorite part about traveling is the incredible people I get to meet, which can also be said about being an online teacher. Learning firsthand about other cultures is a skill that I use while teaching. It helps me better connect with my students, and in return makes me a better teacher.
My Favorite hobbies are reading a good novel, meeting new people, and cooking.

My preferred teaching style is personalized education. I take my student's needs, strengths, and weaknesses into consideration when creating lesson plans. This helps me better identify my student's preferred method of learning. I also use plenty of TPR (total physical response) to help my students learn, without having a need for translations.
