I have been writing professionally for 30 years in the English language. I trained in journalism, but I write in many genres.
I live on a Lake Texoma on the border of Texas and Oklahoma in the U.S.A. I love to discuss a variety of topics including current events in other countries. I am a published journalist. I currently work for a large online publication serving the many lakes of Texas and Oklahoma in the USA. I love to cook and have studied cuisines from around the world. I paint, love music, and learning about cultures around the world. I am also an American Western historian.

I like to find out what level the student is at, what their biggest struggles are in learning English, and then discover what types of lessons will help the student learn the most. Having fun learning English is a great way to retain the lessons and information, so I like to laugh a lot with students.
