I discovered my passion for teaching English while studying Special Education at American University. After graduating with my Masters of Arts in Special Education in 2015, I decided to focus on tutoring online to reach more children and adults. My teaching philosophy is everyone wants to learn, is able to learn, and will learn in a relaxed and interactive environment. As a teacher, I facilitate learning by creating a multisensory experience with props and visuals, asking tons of questions, and providing a space for students to share their experiences. It is so rewarding to help students relate lesson vocabulary and grammar to their life.
