In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, photography, design, video production, and reading. Teaching is a big part of my life, so when I'm not in the classroom, you'll find me walking on top of a mountain somewhere in the Scottish Highlands with my wife, or lifting weights in the gym.

I am a gregarious and passionate teacher who likes to guide students through English, exploring language not explaining it. I don't encourage translation in the lesson and urge students to use their brains to produce English. I use a range of pictures, videos, and audio to promote equal amounts of listening, reading, and speaking into the lessons. Class Rules: 1. Please turn up on time. 2. Please ensure you are prepared for class. 3. Please come to class ready to learn, have fun, and explore English!
