私は元々アメリカのフロリダ出身で、人生の大半をアメリカ大陸で過ごしてきました。カナダからアルゼンチンに至るまでの国々で勉強し、旅行し、働いてきました。異なる民族や文化の歴史について学ぶことが大好きです。現在は、歴史研究者および大学教授としてパートタイムで働いています。過去には大学レベルの作文クラスを教えたこともあります。私の自由時間には、ハイキングをしたり、アンデスで風景画を描いたり、絵画を学ぶことに挑戦したりしています。

Hi! I want to help you improve your English language skills for travel, school, and work. I take an interactive approach to language learning, but I am also comfortable working on some more academic skills, especially for university students. I look forward to working with you!
I am originally from Florida, USA, and I have lived much of my life across the Americas. I've studied, traveled and worked in countries from Canada to Argentina. I love to learn about the history of different peoples and cultures. I currently work part time as a historical researcher and university professor. In the past I have taught unviersity level composition classes. In my free time I can be found hiking, drawing landscapes in the Andes, and trying to learn to paint.

I think languages are best learned by taking risks and engaging in real communication. As a teacher, I'm patient and I encourage students to take on new challenges and rid themselves of the fear of making mistakes.
