I have been teaching online almost daily since 2014, guiding students of all levels on their language-learning journey. With a degree in Psychology and a TESOL certificate, I understand how the brain processes language acquisition. My teaching approach is centered on Comprehensible Input, one of the most effective methods for mastering a new language naturally and confidently. Hi! I'm Dave, originally from the United States, and I’ve been living in the Philippines since 2012. I grew up in the Washington D.C. area, but my roots trace back to the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana. My journey has taken me across the world—from serving in the U.S. military to meeting people from diverse cultures, which sparked my passion for language and communication. Beyond teaching, I’m a former collegiate basketball player and an enthusiast of cars, customized motorcycles, video games, and history. I love connecting with students from different backgrounds and helping them achieve their language goals.
