I have been teaching for 35 and more years. I have a lot of tricks up me sleeve to make learning English fun and to the point.
I like to talk about different topics and mainly about cooking, culture, customs, and disability issues. I know American Sign Language. However, this doesn't mean that I am uninterested in different topics...rest assured that you may open a topic, and I may become interested in them :)

I encourage my students to speak in English no matter what the your level of English might be. I also like my students to be able to make questions and to think outside the box!
