Hello! I'm Shaila, and I've been teaching English since 1999. Over the past 25+ years, I've had the privilege of helping students from all over the world develop their English skills and gain the confidence to communicate effectively. For the past 10 years, I've been a tutor on Cambly, where I have worked with learners of all ages, backgrounds, and proficiency levels. This experience has taught me how to create engaging, personalized lessons that help students reach their goals in a supportive and enjoyable learning environment. Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, or overall fluency, I'm here to help. I also enjoy working with students who are preparing for the IELTS Speaking exam, as well as professionals who want to communicate more confidently in English for work, travel, or everyday life. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and interactive. I believe that students make the greatest progress when they feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and learning from their mistakes. Every lesson is tailored to your individual needs, interests, and goals, and I strive to make each class both productive and enjoyable. One of my favorite parts of teaching is meeting people from different cultures and learning about their lives, traditions, and experiences. I truly enjoy helping students build not only their English skills but also the confidence to use them in real-life situations. Whether you're just beginning your English journey or you're working toward advanced fluency, I'd be delighted to help you achieve your goals. I look forward to meeting you in class!
