Hello!
Hi, I'm Lee and I have enjoyed teaching English online for over 10 years. I'm from a place in the north of England called Yorkshire, which is definitely the best place in the UK! Although I left Yorkshire 15 years ago and I've lived and worked in Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, Malta and now I live in Andalusia in the south of Spain, obviously I love to travel. I'm a retired Police detective, having spent 20 years as an officer in Yorkshire, so if you want to learn about crime and punishment in the UK, I'm your man. I love the freedom of being able to teach from home so I can spend time with my daughter, and with the world wide web as our learning assistant there are no barriers to what we can achieve together. I'm a big believer in healthy living, and I practice yoga, meditation, and I play football with my friends every week. If you love football, speak to me, I can talk football all day! I'm funny, intelligent, handsome and very modest! I love life, and I feel lucky to be alive. I have 'wanderlust' a desire to travel and I've been lucky enough to live abroad for 15 years now in many different countries. I believe in equality for all, including animals...especially dogs! I enjoy spending time with my friends, eating good food and having a beer. I play guitar (badly) and love going to live music concerts and festivals, when I can. My friends tell me I'm easy going, but not so modest! ;)

I think it's important to encourage a natural conversation, I don't like to interrupt too much, but I do give feedback at regular times during the lesson. As a language student myself, I understand the challenges with speaking and listening in a foreign language. I also have a lot of experience and success teaching the IELTS international English test, so if you are looking to work or study in a native English speaking country, I can help you get the score you need.
