Hello!
My name is Mark; I graduated from Kent State University in Ohio back in 1996 with a BA in Fine and Professional Arts. Although I still love creating art, since graduation, I have taken a serious interest in the English written word. I have written three fiction novels; started two separate travel blog sites; published various online articles; and become the art editor for an online literary publication within that time. I am also a freelance proofreader and editor. The next logical step was to start teaching English, and here we are.
I'm a traveler: Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Chile, Norway, the UK, the Canary Islands, Morocco, Oman, The United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand... and when I'm not teaching English, I'm hiking, kayaking, camping, etc... when I'm not up to my ears in nature, I'm reading or watching movies. I love stories (I want to hear your story). When I'm feeling more active, I'm creating art. I love to paint or turn trash into something beautiful... but no matter where I am, If I'm not teaching English, I'm learning another language. I understand the challenge. Let's share this journey.
