Hello!
A brief introduction to Ask Alice. Good morning. I'm a native Brit, born and bred in southern England. I have a generic accent. I've had a long working career spanning many different sectors, both private and public, mainly in support roles. I now live in Spain and am learning Spanish, so I hope I will be able to empathise with you around the difficulties of learning a new language.
I've had a lifelong passion for sport - participating when I was younger, but am now more of an armchair fan! I had a season ticket at Chelsea FC for 25 years. I love to talk about football. A more recent passion has been animals, particularly cats. When I first moved to Spain I had a 16th-century off-grid house up in the mountains, which quickly became home to numerous feral cats - I was happy that the new owners also shared this love. Maintaining good contact with friends and family has become more important, indeed crucial to me. I've liked to have travelling (English spelling) adventures, and have spent time in the Caribbean, island-hopping around Greece, and visiting my brother in Thailand.
