Hello!
Hello! I'm Kevin and I've completed my training for the certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) in April 2023. The time here on Cambly has been beneficial in assisting me with the certification. I will continue teaching on Cambly as I've been enjoying meeting and talking with wonderful students worldwide. I was a teacher in NYC for ten years before joining the US Army where I traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia. Always happy to meet new students! In May of 2023, I also completed my certification course for Teaching Business English! I hold a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Counseling Psychology. My minor in college was English Literature. I moved to South Korea in August of 2023 and plan to continue with my Cambly activities.
I'm still working full time and enjoy traveling as much as I can. Recently, I relocated to South Korea (in August of 2023) and have had the pleasure to visit Hoi An, Vietnam several times as well as Singapore, Taipei, Tokyo, and Chiang Mai and twice in the Philippines (Manila, and Cebu). All beautiful cities! I'm now planning a trip to Bangkok in October 2026. I enjoy sports although I now watch more than I play. I have completed four marathons (42Kms) in my past and try to stay active. I really enjoy my time on Cambly!

Teaching Style
I enjoy interacting with others and I believe that learning should be fun and not tedious. I try to add humor in all of my lessons. I try to teach understanding of the material rather than just memorizing. We remember more when we understand concepts.
