Hello!
Hello, I live in Northern Ireland and English is my first language. I retired in 2020 after 40 years working in the criminal justice system here. My last position was as Prisoner Ombudsman. I subsequently completed an online qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and in addition to Cambly I currently assist with online classes for two charities.
My interests include playing and teaching Irish traditional music, angling, cycling and hiking. I am married with three adult children.

I can assist with spoken and written English, as well as comprehension and reading. My main interest is in conversation but I can also help with writing and editing reports and other formal documents. I am patient and have an informal style. In addition to English tuition, I have considerable experience of teaching music to adults and children.
