Hello!

Language...Words...Communication... Speech is a gift. I hope you will give me the opportunity to enhance your English skills so that you may use this gift fully. I am American, originally from the east coast. My career in education began over 30 years ago in Korea when I "jumped into the deep end" of language teaching in a class of 30 students and survived. I am thankful for the many students who have enriched my life since that time. I live in a townhouse in northern Indiana. My roommate is a sweet outdoor kitty named Miss Sassy who was living alone in the woods when I met her more than 4 years ago.

When I have the opportunity, I enjoy playing with my cat, coloring designs, writing stories, and studying Hebrew. Some of my research interests include nutrition and world religions.

Teaching Style

My teaching style is characterized by whatever it takes to keep my students comfortable using what they have learned. If this means straying from the topic at hand for a little while, that's okay, but I try to circle back to the main point after a few "rabbit trails."
