Welcome! I'm Teacher Ashley, an IELTS Speaking and ESL teacher with 7+ years of experience helping adult learners improve their English for study, work, and everyday communication. My main focus is IELTS Speaking preparation. As an IDP IELTS-trained teacher, I help students understand the IELTS scoring system, improve their speaking skills, and achieve their target band score. In our lessons, we will focus on: • Speaking more fluently and naturally • Learning and using new vocabulary • Improving grammar and sentence structure • Developing clearer pronunciation • Building confidence when speaking English • Practising IELTS Speaking questions and useful techniques During our lessons, you will have many opportunities to speak, practise your answers, and receive clear feedback to help you improve. My goal is to create friendly, relaxed lessons where you can feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. I also help professionals improve their Business English for meetings, presentations, interviews, and workplace communication. Outside of teaching, I enjoy travelling, learning about different cultures, playing guitar, watching football, and relaxing with a good film. For IELTS students, I focus on speaking practice, useful exam tips, and clear feedback to help you understand how to improve. We will practise IELTS Speaking questions, build stronger answers, and develop the confidence you need for the exam. For Business English students, I use practical topics related to work, such as meetings, presentations, interviews, and workplace conversations. Every student has different goals and learning needs, so I adjust my lessons to match your level and objectives. My aim is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you feel comfortable speaking English, making mistakes, and improving step by step.
