Hello!

Hi! My name is Kirsty and I'm an online ESL teacher from Scotland in the UK. I have been teaching adults for 10 years and teaching ESL for 4 years. My teaching is fun and interactive. I love travelling, to see other countries and experience other cultures. I have travelled a lot in South America and Central America. I hope that I will be able to travel to Asia for the first time next year. I also really like photography, especially taking photographs of landscapes and architecture. I'm not sure if I'm very good at it, but I enjoy it! I love to go to the gym to lift weights. I enjoy building my strength and challenging myself. I am learning to speak Spanish, so as well as being a teacher, I am also a student! This means that I really understand how it feels to try to learn a new language and how difficult it can sometimes feel. This also means that I am patient and that I understand that sometimes students need to ask for explanations or for things to be repeated. I really enjoy meeting people from other countries and finding out about their lives and their cultures. I like my teaching to be interactive and fun and I always try to make sure that my students feel comfortable. I always make sure my teaching focuses on the way in which each individual student will use English in their own life.
