ALICIA
Hello!
Hi I'm Alicia. I am a tutor from Barbados. I enjoy teaching persons of various cultures and have a background in recruiting and training. My classes offer students the opportunity to develop and confidently use their English language skills in numerous aspects of their daily life. Looking forward to helping you along this exciting journey!
I'm a tutor who enjoys travelling and has lived in England, the Dominican Republic, Guyana and most recently, St. Vincent & the Grenadines. I have engaged in community service with a focus on teaching, having done so full-time in the Dominican Republic (1.5 years) and St. Vincent & the Grenadines (6+ years). In addition, I travelled to Switzerland, Spain, France, Scotland, the USA, Canada, Italy, Brazil, as well as a number of islands in the Caribbean including Jamaica, Trinidad, St. Lucia, St. Maarten/St. Martin, Grenada, Anguilla and Puerto Rico. A number of those trips were informed by love of history and the desire to actually visit landmarks that I had only previously read about. I'm a bit of a "foodie"--not only tasting new dishes but also enjoy trying out new recipes for myself. As a human resources professional by training I particularly focused on recruiting and performance management. I'm currently enrolled in the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate Course and am looking forward to exploring the world of data analytics.
