Hello! I live in Atlanta, Georgia, and have been a teacher since 1995. I love history, geography, traveling, and learning about different places and perspectives. I have visited many countries and have lived in Scotland and Uruguay.
I have taught history and geography for many years, as well as other subjects. I am especially interested in social justice issues and I direct a summer camp for teenagers that focuses on human rights education. I love to hike, read, cook, travel, and spend time in nature. I have visited many countries, especially in Latin America, and I have lived in Scotland and Uruguay.

I am a patient, curious, encouraging, and creative teacher. I look for ways to build on my students' interests and lead them to a higher level of skill and understanding. I love to incorporate games, art, music, current events, debate, and cultural discussions into my lessons. While I am eager to meet with any student, I am best suited for intermediate to advanced English learners.
