My name is Bianca. I am American and a native English speaker. I have been teaching English to non-native speakers for around 10 years, and I am TESOL certified. I have the most experience teaching intermediate and advanced English speakers. I love teaching English because I like to meet new people, create fun lessons, and see my students feel more confident expressing themselves in English. My goal as a teacher is to support you! This means that I will take time to make lessons that are focused on your interests and goals. I have lots of creative materials and ideas such as warm-ups, games, role-playing, discussion topics, news articles, exam preparation, podcast episodes, short videos, songs, poems, grammar worksheets, and more! Teaching Style
My teaching style is simple: it is all about supporting you! Based on your interests and goals, I will plan lessons that are fun and challenging. Since I have been teaching English to non-native speakers for six years, I have lots of ideas and materials. For example, I have warm-ups, games, role-playing, discussion topics, news articles, exam preparation, podcast episodes, short videos, songs, poems, grammar worksheets, and more. During our lesson, I will keep track of new vocabulary and send it to you after the lesson. If you would like, I will also assign homework and provide feedback. It is important to me that you feel confident expressing yourself in English. Our lessons will give you time to practice, learn from your mistakes, and feel more comfortable using English in the real world.
