Hello!
Hi my name is Ian, my students call me tutor Ian and I am really pleased to meet you. I was born in Harrogate, England and after obtaining my Engineering degree have been working and teaching overseas until I retired.
I am a professional Mechanical and Structural Engineer and have worked and taught in Africa, Polynesia, China The Philippines, Turkey, France and currently in Bulgaria where I now live. I naturally love to travel. I play the guitar and am an avid woodworker and gardener.

My teaching has always been on a one to one basis, I love having conversations with my students and learning about their life and dreams. My teaching has generally always been in my students own country and environment, where I have been the foreigner. so I appreciate exactly how you feel when initiating a conversation.
