Hello!
Hi! My name's Daniel, I'm from England and I live in Argentina. I work with an English institute here in Argentina delivering English conversation classes to adults. I studied music at university in London and later on I travelled to Argentina. I love music, so I try to incorporate it into my conversation classes whenever I can!
I also have a family-run business which makes and sells compost to plant shops and nurseries. I have a band that plays folk music and I love lots of different styles of music! I love hearing people's opinions on different topics. I think that these days it can be all too easy to close yourself off to different viewpoints and ways of seeing the world. But through courses like this I am able to help people express their opinions and improve their english language skills.

I believe that teaching through conversation is different to teaching the language. I engage my learners with thought-provoking subjects first, and then look at the relevant language that is involved. Creating an environment in which the learner can try out the language is key. The learner has to be able to make mistakes, without feeling inhibited, in order to improve. I am constantly looking out for up-to-date resources to use, to keep the classes relevant and contemporary. The internet is a great tool in helping me to achieve this, but its not always easy to find the suitable level and tone for the learner.
