Sandhya
Hello!
Hello! My name is Sandhya. I am from the United States and I currently live in Portugal. I have taught for six years, four of which as an online English teacher. Prior to teaching, I worked in public health research. I have a bachelor's and master's degree as well as my TESOL certification. I am a joyful and patient teacher. My focus in the classroom is communication. I want you to feel confident in your ability to communicate in English, whether in casual conversations or business contexts.
When I am not teaching, you can find me enjoying the sun at the beach or at dance class. I love learning. I am currently learning how to code, specifically the frontend of websites.

I believe the most effective way to learn a language is through context and applying the language to relevant situations. So, whether you want to build your confidence in everyday or business English, we will have a lot of interesting conversations and role playing. I also love using games.
