I am an experienced English teacher, both online and in classrooms abroad. I can help you understand all of the intricacies of the English language. My specialties are Intermediate English, English for Social Studies, and English for Business. I studied at two different graduate schools, one in History and one In Education. I can speak about a diverse range of subjects. I can talk with you about American English, SE Asian culture, Social Studies, Business and International Trade. I have passed the FTCE Social Studies Education Certification Exam and the Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) exam. I have taken extensive teacher training classes from the University of West Florida. I have four years experience in classroom teaching overseas. My specialties are English for Social Studies and English for Business. Recently, I taught for four years in Thailand.

My teaching style is inspired by Direct Instruction (DI). Direct Instruction means the following. First, you show the students the correct way of expressing something by doing it yourself. Then you do it together with the student. Finally, the students do it by themselves. This can be abbreviated simply to "I Do, We Do, You Do."
