Hello!
Hello! My name is Charles Twiggs and I am a certified English teacher with years of experience teaching students in different countries. I have extensive experience teaching both in the classroom and online. I look forward to meeting you in the classroom!
I am currently working as an English teacher in a secondary school in Bratislava, Slovakia. Before that I worked as a Main Class Teacher in 1st grade of primary in a bilingual Hungarian public school (School Year 2023/2024), before that at a PreK-12 school in Northern New York and I spent several years teaching English to adults, secondary and primary students in Spain. I have previous experience working with primary school, secondary school, university students and adult learners in the classroom as well as teaching students online. I am passionate about teaching English, learning about new cultures and having a positive impact on my students' education. I work hard to constantly improve myself as an educator and I'm excited to be teaching on Cambly!

For me, my students are the primary focus of my classes. I strive to help students achieve their learning objectives by aligning activities and materials to help them succeed. Whether you are preparing for an exam, an interview or would just like to brush up on your conversation skills, I can help you. I try to make my lessons fun and interesting, focusing on relevant topics and I try not to be too serious. You can always have a laugh while achieving your goals!
