Hi! I'm Ana, but please call me Annie! 🌟 Ready to stop overthinking and start speaking? I’m a TEFL-certified tutor who believes that learning English should be fun, not a chore! I specialize in helping intermediate and advanced individual adults find their voice. If you already have the basics down and want to polish your professional or social English, we are going to be a great team. A Note for New Students: To ensure we are a great match for your learning objectives, I request that first-time students book a 30-minute introductory session. Born and raised in Mexico City, my passion for travel has led me to over 50 countries. I’ve had the incredible experience of living in Switzerland, Australia, the U.K., and the U.S. Traveling has truly shaped my worldview, and I love hearing about my students' own cultures and journeys. I’m a big believer in following your passions. For me, that means baking cakes (my specialty!), writing, and getting lost in books or foreign-language movies—I like to practice my language skills as well! After a day of tutoring, I love to relax by spending time with my Sheepadoodle, Frida. To truly decompress, I enjoy building Legos or playing Nintendo Switch with my husband.
