Danielle
Hello!
Hello! I am so excited to be here and look forward to meeting you! I love connecting with my students and making learning relevant. If I am not familiar with something that you enjoy, then I will find a way to learn about that subject and incorporate it into the lesson. You can even help teach me! Your Culture is important to me! I want to learn about your culture and find ways to integrate it into my teaching. When we meet, you can look forward to learning English through music and song, movement and dance, repetition, reading stories, and thematic play. I love to incorporate props, visuals, and white boards to support student learning. I enjoy teaching all ages, love working with beginners, and am LGBTQ+ accepting. Talk to you soon!
Hello! My name is Danielle and I am so excited to be here! I am a wife and Mom to three children and I love to teach. Some of my favorite things are animals, science, gardens, and being silly. We have three dogs, six cats, a deer mouse, and a bearded dragon. I love dancing with my children, listening to music with my partner, going on walks with my dog, and holding my bearded dragon. I have over six years experience teaching in the classroom, over nine years experience being a Mom of high-needs children, and over 20 years in total working with children. I look forward to getting to know you and your child!

Teaching Style
I am patient and kind and love connecting with my students through conversation, reading books, and singing. I use Total Physical Response (TPR), music, and movement as well as incorporate props, manipulatives, and games into the lessons. I am committed to creating a trauma-informed and culturally responsive learning environment where students can feel safe to learn and have fun. I am passionate about helping students develop social-emotional skills while fostering curiosity, higher-order thinking, and a love for learning.
