Hello!
I’ve been teaching English since 2017, and I’m a Cambridge CELTA-qualified teacher (Pass A). Over the past 8 years, I’ve taught learners from A1 to C1 across many age groups, including teens and working professionals. I’ve delivered 3,500+ hours of lessons online (and I also have substantial in-person teaching experience in Brazil, including language schools and secondary education). My teaching approach is communicative and practical: we focus on real-life speaking, listening, and the kind of English you actually need outside the classroom. I plan lessons with clear goals and lots of guided speaking practice, and I use supportive, real-time correction so you improve quickly without feeling judged. After each lesson, you’ll leave with clear feedback and a simple plan for what to practise next. I specialise in conversation fluency, pronunciation, grammar clarity, and English for work (meetings, presentations, interviews, and professional communication). I also help students prepare for IELTS, especially speaking and writing, with targeted feedback and strategies for common task types. I’m bilingual in English and Portuguese, I speak Spanish, and I’m currently studying Turkish (and a bit of Japanese). Being a language learner myself helps me explain things clearly and keep lessons motivating, structured, and focused on progress.
I’ve always been passionate about languages and cultures. I spent part of my childhood in Plymouth (UK) and later moved to Niterói, Brazil, where I grew up bilingual in English and Portuguese. Now I’m back in London, and I love being in an international environment again—meeting people from different backgrounds and helping them feel confident communicating in English. Because I’m a language learner myself (Spanish, and currently studying Turkish—and a bit of Japanese), I understand the challenges students face: hesitation, fear of mistakes, and not knowing what to say next. That’s why I focus on creating a supportive space where you can speak freely, build confidence, and gradually sound more natural.

Teaching Style
My teaching style is communicative, practical, and personalised. I focus on helping students use English confidently in real situations—whether that’s meetings, presentations, interviews, IELTS tasks, or natural everyday conversation. In our lessons, I quickly identify your main strengths and the areas that are holding you back (grammar patterns, pronunciation, vocabulary choice, or confidence). Then we work on them through targeted speaking practice and clear, supportive correction in real time. I’ll also give you simple follow-up tasks so you can keep improving between lessons without feeling overwhelmed. I’m CELTA-qualified (Pass A). CELTA is a Cambridge-accredited teaching qualification based on observed, assessed teaching practice, which means my lessons follow a clear structure with meaningful practice and feedback—so you always know what you’re improving and why. The aim is steady progress: sounding more natural, speaking with more ease, and communicating clearly in the situations that matter to you.
