My name is Caitlin and I look forward to chatting with you to improve your English skills! I believe that I am uniquely qualified, with my degree in International Relations and my experience teaching English as a Foreign Language, my certificate in Marketing Strategy, and my completion of the TEFL exam. I have experience teaching EFL public speaking classes as well as more informal free talk classes. My goal is to make my classes as comfortable as possible, because I believe that is the best way for a student to learn a foreign language.
I have traveled to Europe twice during my university studies. The second time I lived in Geneva, Switzerland for four months. More recently, I traveled to Japan. I enjoy saving money so I can travel as much as possible. I also love to hear advice about where I should go next. I have three nieces that I adore! I'm a life long learner as well as an educator. I write, cook, garden, and play video games in my free time. I also enjoy keeping up with current events.

I currently teach a variety of styles. I prefer to teach conversationally. I give notes of errors I hear, interrupting the conversation as little as possible. I have experience teaching EFL online for three years and in that time I have learned that it is best to take cues from the student. Everyone learns differently and that is the beauty of a one-on-one lesson. It's never a one size fits all approach.
