When I'm not teaching, you'll usually find me exploring the outdoors or planning my next adventure! I love traveling and learning about different cultures, and one of my favorite parts of teaching English is getting to meet people from all over the world. Every student has a unique story, and I'd love to hear yours! I've just returned to the USA, where I spend my free time surfing, relaxing at the beach, hiking and taking long walks with my dog. During the winter, I enjoy skiing, and my favorite season is autumn because I love hiking in the mountains and watching the leaves change into beautiful shades of red, orange, and gold. I believe language learning is about more than grammar and vocabulary—it's about connecting with people and sharing experiences. I believe the best way to learn a language is by using it in an authentic environment. I never want students to feel afraid of using English just because they might make a mistake! After all mistakes are natural when learning. I like to get to know my students and what they like to do so during class they are excited about using English to tell me about themselves and their hobbies.
