I have been teaching ESL students online for the past eight years. Before I began teaching ESL, I was a helping professional for adults and kids in my community. In the past, I have had many different kinds of jobs from bookstore clerk to apprentice electrician! I have cooked food for university students, and I worked with computer systems at a local bank. I was born in Michigan which is in the northern part of the USA. The weather here is cool, and there are many trees and plants. I have two adult children and one small cat. I like to stay up to date on new technology and I also like to bake delicious desserts! I love my small black cat, her name is Cici (It sounds like see see). My favorite season is autumn. The trees here become bright yellow, orange, and red during autumn, and the air is cool and clean. I spend a lot of time outside in autumn! What is your favorite season?

I use different teaching styles depending on what students want during their classes. Some students want to be tutored in a traditional way. Other students want to informally practice topic discussions and get tips. I have been told by students that I have a comfortable classroom environment. People say I am easygoing and supportive, and they appreciate my encouragement and patience.
