Hello!
Hello, do you enjoy small talk about the weather, or do you prefer a deeper discussion about current global affairs? Perhaps you want to learn about life in the UK? Is pronunciation your number one barrier to speaking confidently ? Would you like to learn phrasal verbs, and use idioms more accurately? Whatever your needs, I am here to help with all your formal or informal requests for improving your language skills. I am a qualified teacher with a native British accent. I started teaching over a decade ago. I absolutely love learning new words, I'm passionate about books (I run an online bookshop) and poetry, which I enjoy reading with students. Creative writing is not for advanced levels only. I have experience with IELTS training and other Cambridge exams too. I love to cook and to try out new recipes, especially from around the world (do you know what a Yorkshire pudding is?). Learning about other cultures and lifestyles is so interesting and it's the best part of being on Cambly. I look forward to meeting you very soon. FIRST LESSON ONLY 30 MINUTE PLEASE. NO CHILDREN UNDER 16.
I have taught in many different educational settings from universities to public sector colleges in the UK. I have also taught General English classes with a focus on accuracy and fluency. Improving your Spoken English and Reading skills is the key to language success. What would you like to talk about? I love creative writing , so perhaps you wish to write a poem or a story? Did you know oral storytelling is a fantastic way to improve fluency?

Teaching Style
Teaching style depends on your learning style. Do you prefer a structured approach to speaking, or are you open to spontaneity? Sometimes I'll use topical themes around news stories and general conversation prompts, other times I'll focus on pronunciation and fluency. Either way, I'll get you talking.
